USS C.P.S. during its sea trial in Belfast Harbor

USS C.P.S. was launched at 3:40 PM EDT from the MMA Training Ship State of Maine (TSSOM) on June 02 approximately 360 nautical miles northeast of San Jan, Puerto Rico: Latitude  23° 0'20.54" North, Longitude  61°27'15.62" West.  CAPT Larry Wade of TSSOM reported that "Her launch went smoothly and as we motored away you could see her sailing off to the WSW. We expect her winds to probably back around to the SSE and she should travel West to NW and eventually get into some currents that will take her to the North East."
