Educational Passages is deeply indebted to Maine Martime Academy's Department of Marine Transportation and their enthusiastic endorsement of our activities.  Without the specific help of CAPT Rick Miller of the Arctic Schooner BOWDOIN, our 2008 launch of RUNNING FREE and O-SOLO-ME-O would not have been possible.  More recently, we are especially indebted to CAPT Larry Wade, Master of the TS State of Maine (TSSOM).  Without his unwavering active support, launch of the five unmanned mini-boats involved in the 2009 Atlantic Passages Program would have been impossible. 

Educational Passages is proud of its association with and fully supports the Maine Maritime Academy mission to provide a quality education primarily focused on marine related programs. Their curriculum empowers students to take on leadership roles, encourage rigorous self-discipline, promote curiosity, and provide graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the global economy.

Educational Passages was extremely honored to be able to attend the reception held for TSSOM in Baltimore, MD on June 22 and her home coming to Castine, ME on June 27.
